If you are dealing with morning sickness often, then you are probably doing something wrong. You watch too much TV before going to sleep or you have dinner later than you normally would. But these are not the only things that can trigger vertigo. Fortunately, there are solutions to get rid of it.
1. Drink a glass of water.
After a 7-8 hour sleep, the body is dehydrated, and this is a cause that can trigger vertigo. Drink a glass of water after waking up and you’ll more likely feel better.
2. Expose yourself to enough sunshine!
If you’re lucky to wake up on a sunny autumn morning, then take advantage of it properly. Sunlight reduces the level of melatonin in your body and will help you wake up faster and be more energetic. So just pull the curtains!
Vertigo is even more unpleasant on Mondays, after you’ve slept more in the weekend
3. Alternate cold water with hot water when taking shower!
If you have the impression that even the shower can’t wake you up, then maybe you are doing it wrong. Instead of using only hot water, try to alternate a little with the cold one. You will notice how easily you revive if you do that.
4. Schedule something nice to do every day.
It’s easier to wake up when you know you’re going to do something you like. There may be little things like a coffee with a very pleasant flavor, a sandwich with freshly baked home bread from the bakery or cycling.
5. Keep your sleeping program in the weekend too.
We know that it is tempting to take advantage of Saturdays and Sundays to sleep more, but this is the only way to disturb the inner rhythm of the body. On Monday morning you will feel that unpleasant dizziness more than ever.
